Industrial Development Bureau (IDB), MOEA since 2003 has consigned Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) of Taiwan to execute the “Nano Technology Industrialization Promotion Plan”, and actively promote industrialization of nano technology. In order to further encourage the domestic manufacturers to develop prominent nano products and upgrade the consumers’ acceptability of nano products, in 2004, IDB further listed the nanoproduct cerification system as a major work item, to be under charge of execution by ITRI.
